Our Company
We are a family owned business that started with our Pleasanton restaurant, Girasole Grill, in 1994 and expanded into catering in 1998, taking the name Pampered Palate in 2001. Both operate from our Pleasanton restaurant site with the same management team. We call our cuisine ‘Fresh Italian with a California Attitude’, and incorporate a fusion of Asian, Mexican, Southwestern and Caribbean flavors into our menus.
Our management team consists of owners Skip & James Hinsley, and a kitchen staff that has been with us for years, some since we opened. Our catering staff is separate from the restaurant staff and is professionally trained.
Our Catering Services
We are a ‘full service caterer’ providing server & kitchen staff for buffet, plated dinner & hors d’oeuvre events. We provide china, silverware, glassware, linen & ‘cake’ or dessert service.... all in one price. We will handle any rentals, plan your event and coordinate with all vendors, both ‘prior to’ and ‘day of’. We have a catering Liquor License’ for cash or hosted complete bar service, as well as variety of ‘Beverage Packages’ when you wish to supply the beverages.
In addition, we offer our economical ‘Self catering To Go’ and simply ‘Drop off’ packaged foods that dramatically lower your per person cost.
We cater to a variety of functions from 25 people in a private home to 900 in a large Hall, community center, winery or corporate location. We cater to the greater East Bay, Tracy, San Jose, Benicia/Vallejo, the Peninsula and San Francisco and specialize in wedding receptions; bar/bat mitzvahs; fundraisers and special events.
